WHAT IS FORESTRY MULCHING?

When the brush clearing job is too much or too large to hand cut with a chainsaw, this is where the job starts for a forest mulcher. Forestry mulching is the process of selectively cutting trees, brush, and vines to flush with the ground. In one step our equipment can cut, grind, and clear the unwanted vegetation from your property, leaving behind a fine mulch that is operational, and beautiful. Using Carbide Blades instead of simple steel, we are able to cut, grind, and clear land with the highest efficiency.

WHY USE FORESTRY MULCHING?

VALUE & EFFICIENCY

A Forestry Mulcher with one operator that can reduce the biomass into a mulch that remains as a nutrient for the soil, excellent erosion control, or a substrate for driving on.
-A Tracked Forestry Mulcher has a low equipment/operator cost, and a low time cost when working within the limits of the machine.  For larger trees and debris we offer excavator / dozer services as well.

HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR  SERVICES?

There are several ways to bid work, but we would typically come to your site and give you a quote by the hour, day, or per job. That way you get a true price without surprises.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CLEAR AN ACRE OF LAND?

This typically depends on the terrain, the type of trees / brush, low areas, etc. that could be a factor in how the work will get done. By us meeting with you onsite we can see exactly what your land has and provide a more accurate quote. Details are everything so we strive to be thorough and specific when estimating a project as well as performing onsite.

WHAT’S THE LARGEST TREE YOU CAN MULCH?

This primarily depends on the species of tree, however slope of land, obstructions and general site conditions can factor in what size can be mulched. Typically the size recommended is up to 8” diameter although larger trees can be mulched. Keep in mind the larger trees take longer and are considerably more wear on the machine.

WHAT GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?

Being based out of West Monroe, we typically cover work within a reasonable mobilization radius. However, we will mobilize further depending on the job needs and feasibility for our customers. We will follow customers wherever or provide storm cleanup services outside our normal working geographies as the need arises.

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO GET A QUOTE OR SCHEDULE SERVICES?

We have several ways to contact us, phone, text, email, website inquiry. Since we do operate machines ourselves, we will do our best to get back in touch with you the same day or evening.
